In the meantime the timber industry has almost knocked out Indonesia.
It gradually begins to move to the archipelago of Papua (approx. 600 islands). In order to prevent the deforestation of the archipelago forests and thus the silting up of the surrounding coral
reefs, the population must be offered alternative livelihoods. The project supports the expansion of local shipping which is supposed to ensure a sufficiently large livelihood for the locals
through fishing and goods transport.
